The SEMICON India Hackathon 2026 is India's premier national semiconductor hackathon, hosted as part of SEMICON India, the country's flagship semiconductor and electronics exhibition.

As India's semiconductor ecosystem enters a new phase of growth, the need for skilled talent and industry-ready innovation has never been greater. Aligned with the Talent Development pillar of SEMICON 2.0, the hackathon is designed to bridge academia and industry by challenging students to solve real-world, industry-defined semiconductor problems. Participants will have the opportunity to transform innovative ideas into practical, industry-ready solutions while gaining valuable exposure to emerging technologies, expert mentorship, and the evolving semiconductor ecosystem.

Eligibility Criteria 

✅ Undergraduate, Postgraduate & PhD Students

✅ Engineering, Science & Technology Disciplines

✅ B.E., B.Tech., M.Tech., MCA & Equivalent Programmes

✅ Teams of 2–4 Members

✅ No Prior Semiconductor Industry Experience Required

No. Strong technical fundamentals and curiosity are sufficient.
