Ms. Aisha Ali Hussaini

Aisha is a Partner and Semiconductor Tax Leader at EY India, with more than 20 years of experience advising multinational and domestic companies on central and state incentives and Indian indirect taxes. She also leads EY India’s semiconductor sector.

Her experience spans multiple industries, with a particular focus on manufacturing, including pharmaceuticals, cement, semiconductors and other deep technologies. Aisha has led several engagements providing end-to-end support to approved applicants under ISM 1.0, with deep expertise in strategy, structuring, incentive advisory, disbursement support, project management and implementation. Her work also includes helping pharmaceutical manufacturers access benefits under incentive programmes such as the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, advising companies on export incentives, and supporting the establishment of Export Oriented Units (EOUs), Software Technology Parks (STPs) and Special Economic Zones (SEZs).
