Mr. Vageesh Tiwari

Dr. Vageesh Tiwari is a seasoned civil servant with a distinguished career spanning over 17 years across key ministries of the Government of India. Currently serving as Chief Vigilance Officer at NIELIT and Director at the India Semiconductor Mission, he plays a pivotal role in advancing India’s digital and semiconductor ecosystem.

He also holds the position of Director (Digital Governance) at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, where he drives innovation, digital transformation, and governance reforms. Earlier, he contributed significantly as Deputy Financial Advisor at the Ministry of Railways, overseeing financial strategy and policy for over 15 years.

Dr. Tiwari’s academic foundation combines medicine and management — he earned his MBBS from Madurai Medical College and an MBA in Finance from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. His expertise is reinforced by certifications in Digital Transformation, Data Analysis, Health Economics, Cybersecurity, and Regulatory Frameworks.
