Shri. Manish Chadha

Shri Manish Chadha is Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Government of India. In his current role, he is handling FTA negotiations on emerging technology and cyber security co-operation with partner countries, export promotion of electronics and semiconductors, apart from all ICT and cybersecurity matters for the Department.

He is one of the few professionals who were brought from private sector through Lateral Entry selection process conducted by UPSC, to infuse fresh thinking in the government.

In his previous role, Shri Chadha has 22 years’ experience leading transformative projects for large IT and consulting firms, as Head of their ICT and information security practice. He has also advised foreign governments on National ICT strategy and cybersecurity roadmap.

Shri Chadha is an Electronics Engineer and alumnus of Faculty of Management Studies Delhi. He is also a certified IT Governance and information security expert.
