Shri Alok Kumar, IAS, is the Principal Secretary of the Department of IT & Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh.He also serves as Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Electronics Corporation Limited.He is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the state’s information technology and electronics initiatives.His role supports the development of technology policies, digital infrastructure, and electronics-related investments.He contributes to strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s electronics manufacturing and semiconductor ecosystem.His responsibilities include supporting technology-led industrial development and digital transformation.Through his leadership, the department works toward expanding IT, electronics, and emerging technology opportunities in the state.
