Ms. Lavanya Sanagavarapu

Lavanya Sanagavarapu is a semiconductor technology leader with 14+ years of experience in the foundry industry and holds an M.Tech. from IIT Bombay. She has built deep expertise across semiconductor manufacturing, process integration, technology transfer, yield enhancement, and engineering capability development.

She began her career at TSMC (Taiwan), where she served as a Product Engineer and Process Integration Engineer, leading the resolution of complex manufacturing challenges, driving process optimization initiatives, and contributing to advanced MEMS technologies. Her tenure at one of the world's leading foundries provided extensive experience in customer engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and high-volume semiconductor manufacturing. During this period, she also developed proficiency in Mandarin, enabling effective collaboration with global stakeholders.

Currently, she is a key member of Tata Semiconductor Manufacturing Private Limited (TSMPL), contributing to India's initiative to establish the country's first semiconductor foundry. As Technology Transfer Leader, she is responsible for driving technology transfer, qualification, and ramp-up activities, working closely with partner teams in Taiwan to enable successful fab startup and operational readiness. Among her notable contributions is the design and implementation of India's first structured semiconductor engineering training program, developed in collaboration with Taiwanese partners to build the next generation of semiconductor talent.
