Dr. Jayraj U Kidav

Dr. Jayaraj U. Kidav is a senior scientist and academic administrator with over two decades of experience in VLSI design, semiconductor Assembly, Testing, Marking and Packaging (ATMP), embedded systems, and signal processing. He has been serving as the Executive Director of NIELIT Calicut since February 2026, after serving as Executive Director of NIELIT Aurangabad from May 2023 to February 2026. Previously, he headed the VLSI, Product Engineering and Cyber-Physical Systems Research Group at NIELIT Calicut and worked as an R&D Engineer with IBM Systems and Technology Group, Bangalore, and as a Scientist in the Signal Processing Systems Division at DRDO-NPOL, Kochi. He holds a Ph.D. in VLSI Signal Processing from Karunya Institute of Technology, an M.E. in VLSI Design from PSG College of Technology, and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from MEPCO Schlenk Engineering College. He has received recognition from DRDO and IBM for contributions to parallel processing DSP hardware and multi-core SoC emulation platform
