Mr. Sateesh Andra

Managing Director Endiya

Sateesh Andra is an engineer, Silicon Valley entrepreneur, and venture investor with over three decades of experience building and backing technology companies across the U.S. and India.

An electrical engineer by training, Sateesh began his career in engineering and product leadership roles at VLSI Technology (NXP), LSI Logic (Broadcom), and Tsqware (Synaptics). He later founded and led Silicon Valley technology company Euclid before moving into venture capital with DFJ and Ventureast and subsequently founding Endiya Partners.

Sateesh’s semiconductor roots have shaped a long-standing investment thesis around India’s potential to build globally competitive semiconductor products and IP. At Endiya, he was an early investor in Steradian Semiconductors, supporting the company through its acquisition by Renesas Electronics. Endiya has continued to invest across the semiconductor technology stack through AlphaICs, Maieutic Semiconductors, VerifAIX, and ThirdAI Automation, spanning edge-AI silicon, AI-driven chip design and verification, and intelligence for semiconductor manufacturing.

Sateesh has consistently advocated for translating India’s deep semiconductor engineering talent into globally relevant products, proprietary IP, and enduring technology companies. Endiya has extended this commitment beyond investing through DEMO: Semiconductors, an ecosystem platform centered on live technology demonstrations and engagement among founders, industry leaders, investors, academia, and policymakers.

Drawing on his experience as an engineer, entrepreneur, and early-stage investor, Sateesh brings a practitioner-investor perspective to India’s semiconductor opportunity. He is particularly well positioned to contribute to discussions on building and financing globally competitive semiconductor companies from India, the role of AI across chip design and manufacturing, and creating the industry and global-market pathways required to scale Indian semiconductor innovation.
