Dr. Usha Gogineni

Director of Technology Development Micron Technology

Dr. Usha Gogineni is a seasoned semiconductor professional with over 25 years of experience spanning semiconductor technology development, manufacturing, device design, reliability, compact modeling and design enablement. She currently serves as Director of Technology Development in Micron Technology, where she leads strategic initiatives to advance semiconductor innovation and enable next generation memory solutions.

Prior to joining Micron, Usha held leadership roles at ams-OSRAM and Maxim Integrated (now ADI), driving breakthroughs in Electronic Design Automation (EDA), device modeling and advanced R&D. Her early career at IBM Microelectronics in the US saw her contributing to pioneering work on SiGe HBTs and strained silicon CMOS technologies for the 90nm and 65nm nodes.

Usha holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an M.S. from Auburn University, and a B.Tech from NIT Warangal, all in Electronics Engineering. A strong advocate for education and mentorship, she shares her industry expertise as guest faculty at IIIT Hyderabad, where she actively engages with students to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world semiconductor innovation.
