Mr. Deepak Agarwal

Deepak Agarwal is the Corporate Vice President of Silicon Design Engineering and Site Lead for AMD Bangalore, with over two decades of leadership in semiconductor engineering. Since joining AMD in 2002, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s global design and verification strategies, contributing to the establishment and growth of AMD’s India Center in 2005.
Deepak’s expertise spans system-on-chip (SoC) design, functional verification, CPU verification, and advanced semiconductor methodologies, where his leadership has consistently driven innovation, efficiency, and performance. His career trajectory at AMD reflects steady progression through roles including Senior Director, Director, Senior Manager, and Manager, culminating in his current executive leadership position.
As Bangalore Site Lead, Deepak oversees critical initiatives in artificial intelligence, core complex die delivery, and talent development, while championing collaborative innovation and organizational excellence. He is also an active member of AMD’s talent committee, underscoring his commitment to nurturing the next generation of engineering leaders.
Educated at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai with a Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering, and the University of Maryland with a Master’s in Computer Engineering, Deepak combines technical depth with strategic foresight.
