Gokul V. Subramaniam is Intel India President and Vice President, Client Computing Group (CCG). In his role as Intel India President, he is responsible for overseeing the company's overall engineering and design operations in India, including driving
innovation, cross-group efficiencies and execution of Intel products and solutions from the site. He also serves as a vice president in the Silicon and Platform Engineering (SPE) and serves as general manager of Client Product Platform Engineering and Validation at Intel Corporation. In this role he leads the global organization responsible for delivering reference designs, system innovations and,
platform validation for the clientroadmap. Gokul drives reference design strategy & system technology innovations focused on new form factors and experiences for personal computing, that enables PC OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and ODMs (Original Design Manufacturers) to deliver leadership innovations and products to the market.Gokul is the CCG Executive Sponsor for Sustainability and delivers technologies to address end to end PC lifecycle to lower carbon footprint in computing devices acrossmanufacturing, operational and end of life phases. Gokul leads the Manufacture in India (ODM) initiative that has brought together the Intel India engineering prowess to enable ODMs ready to manufacture PCs in India.He is currently the Technical Co-Chair for FICCI India driving AI initiatives across industries. He is also part of the NITI Aayog Frontier Technology Hub Expert Council. Gokul is active contributor to the India Semiconductor Mission and India AI Mission initiatives and engaged in driving Heterogenous Affordable Scalable compute for AI in India.Since joining Intel in 2012, Gokul has led client system innovations across various products and platforms, including 2-in-1 laptops, All-in-One computers, virtual reality, gaming, and smart home.
