Dr. G. Rajeswaran

G. Rajeswaran is a distinguished technologist, entrepreneur, and academic leader with over four decades of pioneering contributions to OLED/AMOLED displays, solar energy, and advanced lighting technologies. He is the Founder, Director & CEO of Grantwood Technologies Inc., a multinational enterprise driving innovation in sustainable energy and display solutions across the United States, Hong Kong, and India.
As Professor of Practice at IIT Madras, he leads government-funded initiatives in AMOLED displays, OLED lighting, and organic photovoltaic (OPV) products, establishing India’s first state-of-the-art AMOLED display laboratory. His academic engagement reflects his commitment to nurturing innovation ecosystems and advancing India’s role in high-tech manufacturing.
Rajeswaran’s career spans leadership roles at Eastman Kodak, SK Display Corporation, and Moser Baer Technologies, where he spearheaded breakthrough developments including the world’s first active matrix OLED displays (1999) and advanced thin-film solar cell platforms. His work has consistently bridged research and commercialization, enabling global adoption of next-generation technologies.
