Mr. Gilroy Mathew

As Chief Operating Officer at UST, Gilroy Mathew leads the organization’s operational excellence and strategic growth across the Retail, Manufacturing, Automotive and STC (Semiconductor, Technology & Communication) segments. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring that UST delivers differentiated value to clients in these high-growth industries and scales its services and capabilities to meet evolving market demands.

Gilroy brings more than 27 years of experience in global technology, engineering services, and client operations to his leadership role. He was instrumental in starting UST’s first fortune 50 retailer as its customer and scaling the operations globally from the year 2000 onwards. He has been pivotal in building UST’s end-to-end engineering portfolio, pioneering solutions that span semiconductors, Automotive, manufacturing, retail and digital operations. 

In his current capacity as COO, Gilroy is focused on:

• Driving accelerated growth in the Retail, Automotive, Manufacturing and STC segments through innovative service offerings and go-to-market strategies
• Strengthening operational disciplines and delivery excellence across these segments globally
• Scaling UST’s engineering, communication and technology solutions to support client's transformation journey with agility and speed to market using AI
•  Building ecosystems and partner networks that support Retail, Automotive, Manufacturing and STC clients in leveraging UST’s global footprint and domain expertise

Gilroy began his career as a consulting expert in retail systems and AS/400 technologies before evolving into leadership of global engineering functions in four different continents.
