Professor V. S. Kanchana Bhaaskaran is a distinguished higher education leader, academic administrator, institution builder, teacher and researcher with more than 45 years of experience in teaching and research. Her professional interests include higher education policy and governance, multidisciplinary education, emerging technologies, industry–academia collaboration, research excellence and institutional development. Professor Bhaaskaran has supported academic and research initiatives in semiconductors and VLSI, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, electronics, sensors and IoT, and Industry 4.0.
