Udayan Ganguly

Udayan Ganguly is a distinguished professor at IIT Bombay, currently serving as the Professor-in-Charge of SemiX since November 2022. With over 15 years of experience at IIT Bombay, he has held roles as Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor in Electrical Engineering. Prior to academia, he worked at Applied Materials for nearly four years, focusing on flash memory applications and process integration. He also completed a postdoctoral stint at UARC/UCSC and was a user at the Cornell Nanoscale Facility. Udayan holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University and a B.Tech in Metallurgy from IIT Madras. His top skills include device characterization, nanofabrication, and general characterization. He is based in Mumbai and has previously served as an editor for IEEE Electron Device Letters.
