Dr M M Tripathi

Dr. M. M. Tripathi current Director General of the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) and holds the position of Vice-Chancellor of the NIELIT website Deemed-to-be University, a status the institute attained in March 2025. He is actively involved in promoting digital skilling and establishing AI labs across India, visioning NIELIT as an international-level digital skilling university. 

Key Initiatives:

• Focuses on making NIELIT an international-level digital skilling university.
• Spearheads the establishment of AI labs and high-computing networks for AI skilling.
• Engaged in collaborations and MoUs to enhance skilling opportunities and industry exposure for youth.
• Promotes environmental awareness and other government initiatives through NIELIT.
