Brian Haas

Brian Haas currently serving as Engineering VP & General Manager at KLA, he oversees a global engineering organization of over 500 professionals across multiple Centres of Excellence. His career at KLA spans roles such as VP of Customer Experience and VP/GM of various divisions, where he led initiatives that significantly improved customer satisfaction, product innovation, and business performance. Prior to KLA, he held leadership roles at Applied Materials, where he drove strategic growth and product development in Rapid Thermal Processing. He began his career as a research scientist at NASA Ames, focusing on spacecraft atmospheric entry modelling. Brian holds a Ph.D. in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford University and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is recognized with multiple horons including 12 patents, a Distinguished Alumnus Award, and has authored technical publications. His strengths lie in customer empathy, persuasive communication, and leading large technical teams with a focus on innovation and impact.
