Jaswinder Ahuja

With over 35 years in the global semiconductor industry, I bring a unique blend of technical depth, operational expertise, and strategic leadership. My journey includes leadership roles across R&D, business development, market expansion, and general management—most recently as Corporate Vice President International Headquarters and India Managing Director at Cadence.

A long-standing advocate for India’s semiconductor ecosystem, I’ve helped shape national policy and infrastructure through founding roles in VLSI Society of India (VSI) and India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), and ongoing contributions to India Semiconductor Mission (ISM), STPI and Electropreneur Park.

Today, I focus on advising boards, mentoring deep-tech start-ups, and supporting the next wave of semiconductor and ESDM innovation.

Honoured with Lifetime Achievement Awards from VSI and Cadence, and a Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT-Varanasi, I remain committed to building and giving back to the ecosystem that shaped me.
